Exports: PIPRA Cameroun S.A. and CAMTRADE PASS at the heart of the strategy to bring “Made in Cameroon” products to the European market
In a global environment driven by the search for competitiveness, PIPRA Cameroun S.A. reaffirms its role as a catalyst for the national economy. On 5 March 2026, Chairman of the Board Armand Gaétan NGUETI will contribute CAMTRADE PASS’s expertise to a strategic webinar on the keys to successful exports to the European Union.
Institutional collaboration to strengthen national visibility
Developed through close institutional collaboration with Cameroon’s Ministry of Trade, PIPRA Cameroun S.A. designed CAMTRADE PASS as a practical response to the challenges faced by local producers. More than a label, it is a comprehensive facilitation scheme structured to align Cameroon’s supply with the requirements of the Franco-Cameroonian economic facilitation partnership agreement.
This webinar, entitled “Europe: opportunities and conditions for market access for Cameroon”, provides an essential platform for understanding how to turn diplomatic agreements into tangible commercial opportunities.
CAMTRADE PASS’s missions: removing barriers to exports
Under the leadership of its Chairman, Mr Armand Gaétan NGUETI, CAMTRADE PASS deploys multidimensional expertise to ensure that every “Made in Cameroon” product finds its place on European shelves. The webinar contribution will focus on PIPRA’s three mission pillars:
- Conformity and standards excellence: access to the European market is governed by strict sanitary, phytosanitary and technical standards. CAMTRADE PASS helps companies upgrade their processes to overcome these non-tariff barriers.
- Market intelligence and strategy: understanding distribution channels and European consumers’ expectations. PIPRA provides the analytical tools needed to position Cameroonian products in high-value niches.
- Logistical and administrative facilitation: through CAMTRADE PASS, exporters receive guidance on navigating customs facilitation tools and Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) mechanisms.
“Our mission with CAMTRADE PASS is to build an unbreakable bridge between Cameroon’s productive ingenuity and European demand. It is no longer simply about exporting, but about winning lasting market share through quality and conformity,” says Armand Gaétan NGUETI.
An expert panel for a comprehensive perspective
To offer a holistic response, PIPRA Cameroun S.A. will share the panel with Stéphane André, representing the European Union Delegation to Cameroon. Together, they will explore the growth opportunities offered by bilateral cooperation.
This ecosystem is supported by leading partners including Business France, Bpifrance, the French Embassy in Cameroon, Afrique France Entrepreneurs and Digital Africa, reflecting the initiative’s strategic importance for the country’s trade balance.
Moderation will be provided by recognised expert Ann-Mareme Atayi, ensuring productive exchanges and practical answers to business leaders’ concerns.
