Strategic alliance: PIPRA Cameroun S.A. and FAFE Cameroon join forces to transform women’s entrepreneurship
Yaoundé, 4 February 2026 — This is a decisive turning point for women’s economic empowerment in Cameroon. Today, at PIPRA Cameroun S.A.’s headquarters, a major strategic partnership agreement was signed between PIPRA Cameroun S.A., promoter of the Camtrade Pass technological initiative in institutional collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, and the African Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (FAFE), Cameroon representation.
The formal ceremony was attended by Mr NGUETI Armand Gaetan, Chairman of the Board of PIPRA Cameroun S.A., and Mrs NGALLI AVA Nicole Blanche, National President of FAFE Cameroon. Together, they sealed a pact for the competitiveness and visibility of “Made in Cameroon” products.
Collaboration for quality and market access
Although women entrepreneurs are an essential pillar of the local economy, they often face significant challenges: quality standards, traceability and access to financing. This partnership provides a practical, technology-based response to those issues.
Through the agreement, PIPRA Cameroun S.A. commits to deploying the Camtrade Pass ecosystem among the thousands of FAFE members across the country’s 360 municipalities. The collaboration focuses on five priority areas:
- Conformity and quality: technical assistance for laboratory testing and standardised labelling.
- Digital traceability: assigning unique Camtrade Pass QR codes to secure and track products from producer to consumer.
- Capacity building: training in packaging, hygiene and digital management.
- Market access: incorporating women entrepreneurs’ products into physical and virtual showrooms and listing them with partner hotels.
- Financial inclusion: facilitating access to microfinancing through Camtrade Pass Finance.
A focus on youth: the “Young Woman Entrepreneur” programme
Aware of the importance of the next generation, the two organisations also agreed to launch a special programme for young women aged 18 to 35. This specific component will focus on incubation and mentoring, offering preferential access to technological tools to support emerging women-led startups.
Statements from the signatories
At the signing, Mr NGUETI Armand Gaetan stated:
“By combining PIPRA’s traceability technology with the reach of the FAFE network, we are doing more than labelling products; we are giving Cameroonian women the tools to enter national and international markets with confidence and credibility.”
For her part, Mrs NGALLI AVA Nicole Blanche emphasised:
“This partnership fulfils our determination to help women entrepreneurs leave the informal economy. With PIPRA, we are moving from artisanal production to standardised, traceable and financeable production.”
